Practicing the Presence | Transforming Daily Life

Welcome home.

We are a New Thought community sharing spiritual truths that reach beyond any one philosophy or school of thought. We believe in a loving Presence that is everywhere present and right where you are. No matter where you have been or what you might be going through in this moment, there is a Power within you and all around you that loves and cares for you.

We practice living this positive spirituality together so we can bring our whole selves—body, mind, and spirit—into alignment with joy, love, and abiding peace. We support one another in leaving fear and judgment behind to embrace life-affirming truths. We teach simple, practical ways to change your world by changing you thinking.

If you are feeling lost or lonely, or if you are simply looking for further opportunity to connect to a sense of purpose in your daily life, you have found a safe place to open your heart to try this for yourself. Whether you have been on a spiritual path for many years or are just starting out, you are most welcome. Come as you are. We can help you tap into the power and peace already within you.

Let us affirm: “We are all spiritual beings having a human experience.”

Affirmation of Our Faith

We teach simple, practical ways to change your thinking and change your life—for the better.

On God: The All-Embracing Presence

We believe that God is the One Infinite Source of Life and All-Embracing Presence. God is both everywhere present and the inner I AM at the very center of our being. The loving Presence of God breathes our breath, beats our heart, and guides our steps. God is the eternal Self-Givingness of Spirit, the gentle outpouring of all wisdom, love, abundance, and peace. We find rest in the sure knowing that where we are, God is.

We believe that we live in a friendly universe that supports us in our healing and spiritual growth. The world around us is not a cold place but rather a living, responsive energy field that honors our free will and says Yes. While we recognize the Law of Attraction—the spiritual principle that life brings us experiences based on what we think, feel, and do—we trust that we are held by a Law of Grace greater than any mistake we have made. Grace frees us to make new choices and embrace higher joy and greater good. We are never left alone to struggle; the Universe is always waiting, ready to meet us halfway, giving life to our new, positive thoughts.

We believe that each of us is a beloved child of the Universe, worthy of love simply because we exist. We were born not separated from God but rather of Spirit, a unique spark of the One Light. We believe that Christ is the true identity of each person, the perfect pattern of who we are meant to be as God created us. We honor Jesus as the great Way-Shower, an older brother who revealed the truth that the Kingdom of Heaven is not a far-off place but rather a treasure hidden in our hearts. We are not here to earn our place in the kingdom but rather to express the glory of our Creator. He also gave us the following wisdom from which all other wisdom flows:

“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” — Yeshua (Matthew 22:37-39)

We believe that sin—missing the mark—means believing in and then living from mistaken understanding. Salvation is the process of remembering the truth of who we are, releasing our errors of thinking and acting, and choosing again from love and trust. We believe that sickness, lack, and loneliness are not punishments but rather temporary shadows that vanish as we awaken from our fear and judgment, opening our eyes to our connection to Source. We practice the art of self-compassion and affirmation, knowing that as we love ourselves, we open the door for Life to heal us.

We believe in prayer not as a plea for miracles but rather as a communion with the Divine. We pray not to change God’s mind but to change our own minds, aligning ourselves to the perfect Love that God is. We practice finding sanctuary: turning away from the noise of the world around to listen to the stillness within. Rather than struggling to fix what appears broken, we meditate on the spiritual truth to remind ourselves of the reality of what is. We release our doubt, remember the truth, and trust that all is well.

And so it is.
